Privacy Policy
Effective Date: May 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Concept Collision (the "App"), developed and operated by Concept Collision, handles information related to your use of the App. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information in two ways: what you provide to generate content, and account data when you sign in.
Generation inputs (all users):
- The two concepts, words, or phrases you enter.
- Your selected collision style (Playful, Balanced, or Rigorous).
- Your choice of AI generator (Claude only on Free tier; Claude, Grok, or Both on paid Explorer or Thinker tiers).
These inputs are sent temporarily to our proxy server hosted on Google Cloud and then forwarded to the chosen AI provider. We do not store your inputs or the generated collisions on our servers after the response is delivered.
We do not collect or store any inputs or generated collisions after the response is delivered to your device.
Account data (signed-in users):
- Firebase Authentication: When you sign in with Google or email/password, we collect your email address and display name. This is stored securely in Firebase Authentication, managed by Google.
- Firebase Firestore: When you are signed in, the following data is stored in Firestore linked to your account: your collision history, saved favorites, daily usage counts, and your subscription tier (Free, Explorer, or Thinker).
We collect no other personal information — no phone number, location, device ID, advertising ID, or IP address.
The App is built with Capacitor (which wraps a web app for Android) and automatically includes Google Play Services. These components do not collect or share any end-user data on our behalf.
No analytics, tracking, or advertising tools are used.
2. Local Storage and Cloud Sync
The App stores data locally on your device for offline access and performance:
- Your saved favorite collisions and collision history.
- A short local list of recently generated concepts (to prevent repeats in random mode).
- Your current subscription tier for feature unlocking.
- Your daily usage count to enforce generation limits.
You have full control over local data — you can delete individual items, clear the entire history, or uninstall the App to remove all local data at any time.
Cloud sync (signed-in users only): When you are signed in, your collision history, favorites, usage counts, and subscription tier are also stored in Firebase Firestore and synced across the website and the mobile app. This allows your data to be available on any device where you sign in. Signing out or deleting your account removes this cloud data (see Section 9).
3. How We Use Information
Your two concepts, style choice, and generator selection are used only to generate the creative "collision" output (multiple numbered entries with titles, paragraphs, and tags, plus a final Reflection).
Once the response is returned to the App, the request data is discarded on our side. We do not analyze, profile, train models, or use your inputs for any other purpose.
Daily generation limits (5 on Free, 15 on Explorer, 30 on Thinker) are enforced locally and do not stack across days.
Content filtering: All concept inputs are checked against an automated content filter before being sent to any AI provider. Inputs that are blocked by the filter are not transmitted to Anthropic, xAI, or any other external service. We do not log or store the content of blocked requests.
4. Sharing or Selling Information
We do not sell, rent, or share your inputs or generated content with advertisers or any other companies.
Your generation inputs are sent only to:
- Our own Google Cloud proxy (under our control), and
- The chosen AI provider(s):
- Anthropic (Claude API) on all tiers, or
- xAI (Grok API) on paid tiers when you select Grok or Both.
If you choose Both on a paid tier, inputs go to both Anthropic and xAI via our proxy. Each provider's use of the data is governed by their own privacy policy (we have no control over their retention practices).
Stripe (paid subscribers): When you purchase a paid subscription, your email address is shared with Stripe for payment processing and subscription management. Stripe handles all payment data including card numbers — we never store or have access to your payment credentials. Stripe's use of your data is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.
No other personal data is shared with third parties.
5. Account Data
When you create an account, the following data is stored in Firebase Firestore linked to your user ID:
- Email address and display name (from Firebase Authentication).
- Subscription tier (Free, Explorer, or Thinker).
- Collision history and saved favorites.
- Daily usage counts (to enforce generation limits).
- A Stripe customer reference ID (for paid subscribers), used to manage your subscription via the Stripe customer portal.
We do not store passwords — authentication is handled entirely by Firebase. We do not store payment card details — all payment processing is handled by Stripe.
You can delete your account and all associated Firestore data at any time by contacting conceptcollisionsupport@gmail.com. We will process deletion requests within a reasonable time.
6. Third-Party Services
The external services we use are:
- Our Google Cloud proxy — under our control; used to route generation requests securely.
- Anthropic's Claude API — anthropic.com/privacy
- xAI's Grok API (paid tiers) — x.ai/privacy
- Firebase Authentication & Firestore (Google) — account management and data sync — firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription management — stripe.com/privacy
No analytics providers, advertising networks, or other third-party SDKs are integrated.
7. Data Security
We use HTTPS encryption and secure server configurations on Google Cloud to protect your inputs while they travel to the proxy and the chosen AI APIs.
Because we do not store your data after processing, the risk of long-term exposure on our side is minimized. However, we cannot guarantee the security of data stored locally on your device, as that is under your control.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your country). We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Your Rights and Choices
- You control everything you enter into the App and all data stored locally on your device.
- You can delete individual saved favorites or clear your entire history at any time directly in the App.
- Signed-in users can request deletion of their account and all associated Firestore data (history, favorites, usage records, subscription record) by emailing conceptcollisionsupport@gmail.com. We will process the request within a reasonable time.
- Paid subscribers can manage or cancel their subscription at any time through the Stripe customer portal, accessible via the Manage Subscription link in the app or website account menu.
- We do not sell or share your personal data for advertising purposes, and there is nothing to opt out of in that regard.
- You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you (if any) by contacting us at conceptcollisionsupport@gmail.com.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the new policy in the App and update the "Effective Date" above. We encourage you to review it periodically.
